Groundhog Prom

Once a year the Groundhog awakens to party! Wear something ironic, iconic, bionic, supersonic, topical yet respectful, bizarre, tacky, formal, irreverent, still alternative and satirical but authentic to you! And then dance all night while the Knights search and interview our new queen candidates! Since it is our 45th Prom, think of 45 RPM records, so we’re going to have a SOCK HOP! Get out your poodle skirts and change that dancing poodle with a diamond collar to a dancing groundhog!

The Amity Affliction

Since emerging in 2008 on the debut Severed Ties, The Amity Affliction have served up three ARIA gold-certified albums, Youngbloods [2010], Chasing Ghosts [2012] and This Could Be Heartbreak [2016]. Hudson Westbrook

Hudson Westbrook, a Lone Star State native from Stephenville, Texas, is not your typical country music artist. As a Texas Tech student, he discovered his passion for music at the age of 15 and began writing his own songs less than a year ago. His debut track, “Take It Slow,” is a testament to his unique style, blending infectious melodies with a modern yet sentimental touch. This distinctive sound garnered over 1.2 million on-demand stream streams in its first week and has 28,000 fan-generated TikToks using the sound to date. This led to selling out 1800 tickets in 48 hours for his first big show in Texas. With his undeniable talent and refreshing approach to country music, Hudson Westbrook is poised to make a significant impact on the music scene.

Citizen Soldier

Citizen Soldier was born in 2016 when frontman Jake Segura penned the lyrics to “Let It Burn” from a psychiatric hospital. Now practicing as a clinical therapist, he implements intensely emotional lyrical themes on mental health into their music. The band presents an accessible message that combats stigmatization and provides a group therapy dynamic. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Segura is joined by guitarists Matt Duffney and Kooper Hanosky, bassist/keys Wonitta, and drummer Kyle Persell.

AWOLNATION

with Bryan Fox VIP packages are available – this is a ticket upgrade and DOES NOT include a ticket. Packages are available at https://awolnation.ffm.to/tp5vip Aaron Bruno, the de facto leader, songwriter, and creative force behind the Los Angeles-based project AWOLNATION, has spent the better part of two decades steering the band’s ship of pop-friendly electronic and alternative rock to millions of record sales and streams, a handful of chart-topping singles, and countless shows played to adoring fans around the world. From the 2010 debut’s smash “Sail” and the hype of sophomore album Run to 2018’s organic-leaning Here Come the Runts and 2020’s rock-forward Angel Miners & the Lightning Riders, plus a handful of EPs, remixes, and a covers album, Bruno has mined his sonic creativity for an output of music on par with anyone’s from the last two decades. Following the pandemic, Bruno parted ways with his record label in favor of a new self-releasing/distribution partnership, formed a hardcore band called The Barbarians of California, and became a first-time father of twin boys, all before finishing his long-awaited fifth full-length album, The Phantom Five. The Phantom Five is a collection of ten songs that highlights every different impulse and urge Bruno has learned to master with AWOLNATION in a cohesive, anthemic pastiche of modern music. It functions almost as a “greatest hits” album, in the sense that it offers something for everyone who has followed the band’s arc in its celebrated, shape-shifting way.
